Sisal is a natural fibre with the botanical name Agave sisalana- it is a species of Agave. It is a strong fibre that will keep your soap safe and can be used for scrubbing and exfoliating. Once it has been used alot it can then be composted. I'm yet to have to do this because of the long life span of the bag.
